Several events in the RunAbout Sports Race Series offer FREE children’s events! Race distances range from 300 meters to 1 mile and offer kids of all ages the opportunity to participate in our community races and earn a medal!
Mile fun run in conjunction with the Blacksburg Classic
The Lucky Leprechaun Dash is a 1-kilometer race on the Blacksburg High School XC course
1 kilometer fun run on the trails around Bissett Park
The fun run route covers the final 300 meters (less than a lap on a track) of the mile course
The Hokie Kids run is a free 1.1 mile fun run taking place the Saturday evening before the Hokie Half Marathon & 5K!
The Jingle Bell Mile is an out-and-back course on the same grass loop and bike paths as the Frosty 5K course
