Fun Run Pub Runs
RunAbout Sports Pub Runs have finally arrived! They will take place every Wednesday all year from RunAbout Sports at First & Main (1470 South Main Street, Blacksburg). Runs will begin 6pm during the Spring, Summer and Fall. After the run, head over to Bull & Bones for food AND drink specials. There are weekly door prizes, visits from shoe companies bringing products to try, free stuff to earn, and a great way to get in a workout while meeting your fellow runners and walkers…then head out and enjoy a nice cold one.…

Blacksburg Classic
The first race in the RunAbout Race Series is the 30th Annual Blacksburg Classic 10 Miler. The 10-mile and 5K are rolling courses through Blacksburg, near the Virginia Tech campus, on roads and paved footpaths. All miles will be marked. Spring Healthy Kids Runs presented by CHOICE Physical Therapy & Wellness
Designed to help children learn about having fun while staying fit, this free program welcomes kids ages 5-12 every Tuesday night. Typical evenings include proper warmup, an age-appropriate track or cross country workout, proper cooldown and stretching, and a LOT of fun. Mountain Lake Hell Climb 10k
The second race in the RunAbout race series is put on by the fine folks at Triadventures. The Hell Climb 10K is a 6.2-mile hillclimb from the base of Mountain Lake in Giles County Virginia to the cool clear air at the summit. Runners will ascend more than 2,200’ feet as they follow Mountain Lake Road, which has an average grade of 10%.
